1. Gather Necessary Tools and Materials

New wiper blades (compatible with the bus model)

Wiper blade removal tool (optional, depending on the type of wiper arm)

Gloves (optional, for cleanliness and protection)

2. Prepare the Bus

1.Turn Off the Wipers: Ensure that the bus is parked with the engine off and the ignition key removed. Turn off the wipers and ensure the wiper arms are in the resting position, typically at the bottom of the windshield.

2.Lift the Wiper Arms: Gently lift the wiper arms away from the windshield. Be cautious to avoid scratching the glass or damaging the wiper arms. Some buses will have a locking mechanism that we need release to lift the arms.

3. Remove the Old Wiper Blades

1.Locate the Wiper Blade Release Mechanism: Depending on the design, the wiper blades may be secured with a hook, a pin, or a latch. Check the connection between the wiper arm and the blade to determine the type of release mechanism.

2.Detach the Old Wiper Blade:Hook-Type Blades: Slide the wiper blade off the hook by pressing a small tab or pin that holds it in place.

3.Pin-Type Blades: For blades attached with a pin, press the pin release mechanism and slide the blade off.

4.Latch-Type Blades: Lift the latch to release the wiper blade and slide it off the arm.

5.Check the Wiper Arm: Inspect the wiper arm for any damage or debris. Clean the arm if necessary.

4. Install the New Wiper Blades

1.Align the New Blade: Position the new wiper blade in line with the wiper arm. Ensure that the type of connection (hook, pin, or latch) matches the new blade.

2.Attach the New Blade:Hook-Type Blades: Slide the new blade onto the hook and ensure it clicks or locks into place.

3.Pin-Type Blades: Align the pin on the new blade with the pinhole on the wiper arm and slide it into place.

4.Latch-Type Blades: Place the new blade onto the arm and secure it by snapping the latch into place.

5.Ensure a Secure Fit: Confirm that the new wiper blade firmly attach and does not wobble or shift.

5. Test the New Wiper Blades

1.Lower the Wiper Arms: Gently lower the wiper arms back onto the windshield. Ensure they properly aligne and not touching the glass.

2.Turn On the Wipers: Start the bus and activate the wipers to test the new blades. Check for smooth, even wiping and ensure there are no streaks or noises.

3.Inspect the Wiper Operation: Ensure that the new blades function correctly and that they clear the windshield effectively.
