Warranty Policy
LEILI AUTO PARTS ("LEILI") shall, at its sole cost, repair or replace any windshield wiper assembly, component, or fractional horsepower motor found to be defective in workmanship or material. This warranty applies provided the product is used in compliance with LEILI’s recommended practices and the customer’s specified application. LEILI reserves the right to require the return of defective products to LEILI or an authorized distributor for defect analysis (shipping costs borne by the customer; LEILI will issue a credit memo for shipping expenses upon accepting liability for the defect following analysis). For repairable products that do not require return, LEILI will reimburse the original purchaser for preauthorized repairs, covering up to one hour of labor at the purchaser’s standard hourly rate.
LEILI shall not be liable for defects arising from normal wear, misuse, abuse, or any unauthorized repair/alteration by parties other than LEILI. Wiper blades are excluded from this warranty unless a claim is filed prior to installation. Under no circumstances shall LEILI assume liability for incidental or consequential damages resulting from product defects.
This warranty constitutes LEILI’s sole product warranty and outlines the customer’s exclusive remedy for defective wiper products and fractional horsepower motors.
Owing to our diverse product line and broad industry applications, warranty periods are tailored to specific industry use cases. The warranty commencement date is the product manufacture date, or—if customer-documented—the date of first service.
Rail Applications
Wiper arms: 0.5 million operational cycles
Wiper motors: 1.5 million cycles, 1 year, or 1,000 operating hours (whichever occurs first)
All other components & fractional horsepower motors: 2-year warranty
Bus & Commercial Truck Applications
1.5 million cycles, 1,000 operating hours, or 100,000 miles/160,000 km (whichever comes first)
Agriculture, Industrial & Marine Applications
2-year warranty or 1,000 operating hours (whichever occurs first)
RV & Military Applications
1-year warranty
Other Applications
For industries not listed above, LEILI will provide application-specific warranty details directly to customers.
